Étymologie
Cette nouvelle espèce a été nommée en l'honneur du professeur associé Phan Thanh Hai (né en 1981), vice-recteur de la Faculté de commerce et d'économie de l'université de Duy Tan, en reconnaissance de son soutien aux campagnes de terrain au Vietnam (Phan & al. 2026).
