[1] - ferrugin... : Ce taxonyme présente une certaine déclinaison au XVIIIème siècle accompagnée d'un jeu de confusions. Certaines rédactions seraient en fait valides, mais ne les a-t'on pas écartées afin de gérer cet état de confusions :
- Libellula ferruginata Fabricius, 1781 correspond à Crocothemis erythraea.
- Libellula ferruginea Vander Linden, 1825 (nec Fabricius, 1793) correspond à Crocothemis erythraea.
