Collections d'Odonates

La collection du MNHN de Paris (France) compte plus de 300.000 spécimens représentant la plupart des familles. Les premières récoltes concernent des recherches menées par Rambur dans les années 1840. Martin a ensuite enrichi fondamentalement celle-ci et sa collection a intégré celle du Muséum en 1920. Depuis la fin du XXᵉ siècle ce sont des fonds afroropicaux (Afrique de l'Ouest) ou malgaches (Madagascar) qui sont venus nourrir le Muséum. Elle contient plusieurs des types décrits par René Martin. Ces derniers ont intégrés la collection du Muséum en 1920. Il n'y a pas de recherches menées actuellement sur cette collection qui est gérée bénévolement par Jean Legrand et la base de données n'est pas renseignée (MNHN 2022). |
- La collection de Naturalis (National Museum of Natural History of the Netherlands) (Pays-Bas) comprend près de 300.000 spécimens séparés par mode de conservation (papillotes, individus épinglés) et organisés par familles → [1].
